Tomorrows article.

Hi All another nice win with Across the Bay last week let's see what I can find out in the field today :)
Races I will be covering are

Kempton 2.05
Not a race to have a huge bet in my opinion it's one of those where anything can win and most likely will.  L'Unique won impressively on both runs however they have been on soft ground so will be interesting to see how she goes on faster ground today, Irish Saint is another who has caught the eye and ran impressively again both of his races so far have been on hvy so it's another ? over the better ground and whatever happens will definately be a decent Cheltenham contender for the Nicholls team for future years to come (gold cup winner in the making maybe) Chris Pea Green has gone up 7lbs since his last run, Courtesy Call has not had a race since last September will appreciate the better ground and faster pace this is the heaviest he has carried though which could well slow him down a bit, Shardapour's races has not been very eye catching so far, Vascoe Du Ronceray would be my value shout currently around 11/4 has raced on better ground its a Henderson / Geraghty combination he has stamina proven from his Cheltenham race, he can run with the weight so worthy of being in the top 2 with Forsters Road although being more experienced will have to show some class to be in with a chance here

E/W  (if price allows)

Vasco Du Ronceray

Kempton 2.40
This could quite easily be a double on the card for Henderson & Gareghty Molotov has ran well here on good ground he's a distance winner having won carrying this weight previously is currently the 6/4 fav and quite worthy of being so, both Theatre Guide and seem to be out of their depth class wise here although both their last runs were on desperate ground Grandioso is around 7/2 probably the Walsh factor as his wins and places have all ocured on soft ground, Miss Curtis is no fool and Packamecho stands a decent chance given past form however never tried around this course, Hendersons other runner the currant rank outsider!! has placed here so does well at the course, likes better ground he's got that today he came 2nd at Aintree 1 & 3/4 lengths behind Attaglance back in December on good ground in a class one at a price of 16/1 i'd be inclined to have him as an e/w and a henderson forecast.

Tour D'argent

Kempton 3,15
Brick Red likes soft ground so may struggle today to make a 4th win in a row, Black Spirit has never been raced over this distance, Fair trade will appreciate the going and trip yet has never done too well in higher class races, Figaro is another who may struggle in this class, Lac Fontana came 2nd in a class 3 on soft so my vote again has to be with the Henderson team (possibly a nice treble here)
with Forgotten Voice who has done well in higher grade races when with Jeremy Noseda and has done well for Henderson so far only struggling in a bog of heavy ground lto.

Forgotten Voice

Kempton 3.50
So we come to a race with double the runners of the first three marvellous my kind of race :) Qinz loves it round Kempton yet after such a long lay off and pulling up on the last 3 races he did run I would be very dubious about backing him today will be a watching brief with him for me, Wyck Hill is the market fav currently at 3/1 for AP runs well on any going when fit enough yet the 2 races he has had at kempton to date have not gone so well so another one i would be dubious about however that could have been down to the jockey who was riding at the time, rolling aces should be there or thereabouts, Whatafriend will be another watching brief after a long layoff however does run well fresh if your there a paddock pick on him may be an option, Nacarat seems a tasty e/w option back at a favoured track / going / weight e,t,c won off a mark of 154 and is a similar mark at 155 today, Roberto Goldbacks last 3 runs can be discounted never raced over course will be an interesting one to see especially with (Sorry I know its him again) Hendersons yard doing so well along with being at a decent mark. Duke Of Lucca is another who stands a decent chance if he can go back to some old form although i'm not convinced by his last run after a long lay off, a few others could have a case made for them yet my vote stays with Roberto and Nacarat.

Newcastle 2.20
So we head to the first of two races at Newcastle and I've spotted my selection right away a horse I chose during the week which for whatever reason became a N/R runs today Lady Bluesky I'm hoping can get Robbie beat on softer ground.

Newcastle 2.55
Then we head to the last of thodays races with 14 runners for 4 miles 1f a race to take note of possible grand national winner runners of a stamina jumping machine is what you need here!!
so watch who leaps those fences & makes it to the end ;) we have some all time greats competing here along with a fair few from my notebook, Mortimers Cross, Rhum, Our Island to name a few
I've whittled out those that ran out of steam lto and weakened so may well struggle here, those loeft to ponder on some have never tried this distance so will be a risk if betting on, one of those will be Monsieur Cadoux who ran very well over 28f on soft ground in a class 2 and looked like he could carry on going for a fair while currently around 14's a small e/w may pay off!!  Captain americo came a respectable 2nd during a class 2 at Kelso over 32f on soft ground with Hughes riding again today looks very tasty at 7/1, Master overseer tends to be one who pulls up when i select him so steering clear today although would not advise anyone not to back him e/w as he has a decent chance, Vaugh & Costello have a decent strike rate in these types of races here so i'd be happy to give Our Island a chance who may have found the going a little too heavy LTO
